Yougang - <Are you saying that Coppermine will be able to keep the MHZ at the same speed or surpass Athlon's MHZ while AMD is taking Athlon all the way to, say, 1.2 Ghz?>

Prove me wrong, please >

I can't prove it. But it is certainly my opinion that 1.2GHz is a reasonable expectation for Coppermine scalability. I posted that exact figure ~couple of months ago, as a reasonable expectation.

Anyway, in the short term, it is my firm belief that Coppermine will generally meet or exceed whatever K7 is shipping at. I can't predict if there may or may not be a +- factor in the timeframes however.

Again, this is my opinion, that may or may not be shared by Intel official. I certainly can't prove it, any more than you can prove that K7 will scale to X.x GHz by Y.
