Likely not a big deal only if the PPI turns out O.K. GG, I believe the market is already anticipating a rate increase. Much of that is priced in. Greenspan was speaking to a banking group and his intent was to explain his concerns about bank reserves in the event there was economic problems. He made no mention of inflation nor for that matter, changed his course. I see this as a non event as long as other people in the market understand what was said. Glenn
