Candle bars now lose their outlines when you compress the bar spacing down, but only if the candle colors are not the same as the background color of the chart, to keep the situation illustrated on your page from happening. If you were to set the candle up color to the same color as your chart background it would keep the black outline on the compressed chart. Your up candle color looks the same as the background, but it isn't - they are two slightly different flavors of white.

To get the old behavior, set the chart background color to the same color as the up candle color.

To keep the outline free compressed candles, but make them distinct, choose a contrasting color for the up candles.
