MG, Let's See!

SnP up 4.4% YTD. My research showed that historically only about 12% of mutual funds can beat that figure.

I made a big deal the other day that WLA had broken a 15 mo DTL. We'll, look again; it didn't hold. That's big time serious for that important sector.

Probably, the stock to watch tomorrow is SUNW. If it cannot rally on good earnings, then what chance do its competitors have (read: IBM).

Because of the 60-min Sto values on the Big Boyz, I really did expect a rally into option expiration. The fact to ponder is what happens if we don't! The SnP is already down 4% for the week. If the SnP closes below 1264, I believe it will be a shot heard round the world. The OEX equivalent is 664.

Then, J6P (really, the "professional" advisor) would have all weekend to think about it, while getting all those phone calls. If Monday also looks bleak, he/she (don't want to be a sexist) closes out their position, and BAMM, a Black Tuesday.

Just some food for thought of how important today is. Hopefully, the rally comes to reality.

Further, Just A View from the Swamp. Good Night Irene!

TB

GREENSPAN needs some Y2KY Jelly!!!! S&P futures down -30!!!!!

I used to respect him as a great market manipulator, but now I see him as just a senile old man. Who among us truly believes that the Fed Chairman needs to remind bank managers to order more cash so they will have it on hand??? He says that investors are loosing confidence in some securities, well I'm loosing confidence in the Fed Chairman!! This market was on the way down very nicely thank you, IMHO he didn't need to whack it again.

TB and I have been watching CMB very carefully, but with Greenspan whacking the market every week who's going to take a position in a bank stock in front of the infamous new year coming up? Not me.

NUE? I've got about 6 Tons of BS right now that I would love to sell, but NUE looks like a buy if it makes it to 44 1/2, however the charts look like it will roll over and play dead this AM, ALA Greenspan.

Hey TB, how high's the watter mama??? Four feet high and rizin... BTW I hope 59 holds!!!

Steve, looking back at NUE - Can't believe that the specialist would gap it up to 45 5/16 with the futures down 30!!! Boy did he get a lesson in economics. STRANGE that anyone would gap up a price in this kinda market!

Just my opinion.

CU PK aka peu, peu peanalty box TM

ps: my MO JO never left - the market sucks!
