I bet Larry Stockett "just loves it when a plan comes together", too. How about this plan, as reported in the Las Vegas Sun last December: December 16, 1998 Brief: New cement plant planned for LV Las Vegas-based U.S. Cement Co. plans to build a 1.2 million ton capacity cement plant here. The company is still designing the plant, and a spokesman could not say how many it will employ or where it will be located. U.S. Cement is being acquired by Brush Creek Mining and Development Inc., a money-losing mining company based in Grass Valley, Calif. As part of that merger agreement, announced last month, U.S. Cement's owner and chief executive, Larry Stockett, has joined Brush Creek as chairman and chief executive. Brush Creek, founded in 1982, has mined sporadically since 1989. In the fiscal year that ended June 30, Brush Creek reported a loss of $5.4 million, or 12 cents per share. Its 1997 loss was $9.7 million, or 47 cents per share."lasvegassun.com Now then, the same search for U. S. Cement as well as one for Larry Stockett showed that only that one story was deemed significant enough for the L V Sun (the only general circulation newspaper in town, the one that reported regularly on the mafia connections with the casinos and other corruption) to run. Gambler Train? Nope. HTEH buying U. S. Cement after the mining company regurgitated it AND Stockett? Nada. And the closing of the sale of a substantial Las Vegas cement plant to U. S. Cement that was due in September?Zippo! Seems as if he's not being taken seriously in Las Vegas after all; maybe has to do with the press release about his inventing a flying saucer that he subsequently put in hiding on USC website (but didn't remove); prolific inventor, he. I do say that I respect and admire the accomplishments of your relatives. Now they're the kind of leaders that inspire confidence whereas...Oh, you know... Dee Jay
