The big PPI number, and the big boys reading between the lines of Greenspan's coded testimony ("the crash is inevitable at this point, brace for impact, dammit!"), is gonna make it a long day for the bulls. If MU at 70 is the mandate today, Niles, Whittington, et al are gonna have to use their last dollar to get it there. (Note that, unlike our favorite management team in Idaho, Greenspan does not have a habit of giving plenty of specific information and notice to the brokers.) There will be a good analysis of the speech here fiendbear.com later today, maybe about noon PST if it isn't there already. Greenspan 'fessing up and stating what everybody else already knows is the beginning of the end game. And on the day of option expiration, too. Let's see if Bill Fleckenstein talks about market manipulation tonite. ;-)
