To expand upon jla's thesis<VBG>, absent a legal framework for redressing grievances or trying to advance one's agenda (for example, through the ballot box), and supposing that the regime is oppressive enough to justify a resort to violence and the uncertainty of civil conflict, a coup or insurrection may be warranted.....
