Military rule for 3 months, SECULAR (!!!!!) Interim Govt for 2 yrs, constitutional reform, prosecute X,Y,Z, appointments by MERIT (!!!!)

Article from Dawn
Informed sources in Rawalpindi told The STAR that the country's military leadership, after detailed and
prolong discussions, has decided that military rule would be transitory and merely a vehicle, for all practical
purposes, to bring the country onto the real and proper path of democracy. Participation of the people in the transitory phase would be ensured through a referendum seeking their approval for ruthless accountability and the agenda for change, they said.

It has been decided that military rule would continue for three months in which procedures would be
established for a viable and meaningful democratic government. When the people grant the present set-up
legitimacy by approving these changes, the military leaders will set-up ,b>an interim government for a period of
two years, after which direct elections would be held.

Well connected sources told this scribe that " this would be an acceptable formula for countries like USA
and institutions like IMF and the World Bank
as all of them have been given assurances of liberal reforms on the socio-economic front that have never been done in the country before in the name of political expediency."

These sources said that ruthless accountability has already started and the present government is likely to
purge the country of corrupt and incompetent leaders by disqualifying them from participating in the political process. " A mountain of evidence has been collected by the army over the years against corrupt politicians and bureaucrats. On the basis of available proof, speedy trails will be held within the constitutional legal framework. Across-the-board accountability will be started. The unscrupulous people could be from PPP, MQM, JI, JUI, PML etc and the bureaucracy," said a source.

"Although no names have yet been decided upon for the future setup through which an interim government would operate, it has already been decided, in principle, that thorough professionals in their respective fields would be taken without discrimination of class, creed, religion, sect and province in order to achieve national
reconciliation, reconstruction and economic revival in a very short span of time."

One thing that has been agreed upon by the concerned quarters, including many politicians, is that Pakistan
needs major constitutional reforms
. Under these reforms, provinces will be granted greater autonomy, appointments will be on merit instead of the quota system, and there would be a major overhaul of the electoral system. (Courtesy The STAR)

The newly re-elected Hindu-led coalition will have to clamp
down harder against any religious persecution of Muslims and Christians.
India's real friends will never lessen pressure against that. And the new
government is not likely to stay in office long if it does not fulfill its
anti-persecution promises to several parties in the coalition.

Precisely. However, the right-wing criminals of the RSS and the VHP aren't going to let the persecution stop, for that is what they thrive on, and that is what they are counting on for their own future. The present NDA coalition is most likely to be wrecked from within the BJP.
