I don't know of any copies of the CC. Regarding competition, those who really know the space know that Bailey is absolutely right. A balance sheet and PC expertise, does not a Comm-IC maker make.

Now we obviously can't call a Greenspan scare-tactic or rising tobacco prices, but I can call who a leader is in one of the most dynamic spaces in business.

I once read that close to 50% of the movement of a stock is due to general market conditions, 25% to sector sentiment, and only 25% due to individual company performance (the caveat being of course when companies blow up). If thats so, then no matter how well PMC does, if Joe Blow fund mgr is spooked by economic matters (as well they probably should), then it will be tough going for all stocks - even the leaders.

All we can do is ride out the storm and if it gets too ridiculous, do what we did last October - and thats load up the boat.

We are revising our price objective upwards from $90 to $105, which puts our target at 22x our 2000 revenue estimate.

You can't trust this analyst's price targets. He raised his price target on PMCS to $120 on 8/25. It would appear that he's LOWERING his price target.
