It is energy costs, no question. And that is generally good for the bottom line of the energy related companies. But that doesn't always translate into daily stock price movement. I'm not so sure the funds are ready to pour money back into this sector. Soon, perhaps.

And, FWIW, I'd rather be a buyer than a seller today, but I won't be either. Next week, maybe, or the week after.

I believe they said the core rate increase less tobacco was only 0.1%. That means tobacco accounted for 0.7%. Food and energy 0.3%.
