We are certainly close to the bottom on the indexes. . .but not so much on the stocks we really want going into 2000. . . .so as we hang out near the bottom this month . . with fear driving the markets. . as we expected and planned for. . .we need to keep our eyes on the great stocks . . .they may continue to fall slowly, as the indexes fluctuate over the next week or so . .

I don't believe today is the bottom, personally. . . I think there is more to come. . .and that we will see Dow 9800 or lower. And if you are trading the indexes, then we could be getting close. . .

But again, my point is this. . . we don't TRADE the stocks in the Dow. . .so the indexes don't matter so much to us, unless you are trading the stocks that make them up . . . . so each of us should make our OWN indexes with the stocks we really want . . and post them in portfolios so everyone can follow along. These will become more valuable in "reading" the market . . .at least OUR market.

If Caterpiller and Alcoa drop all month long, but COVD and ADAP rise all month long, then this correction does not help our cause. . . either way. . we need to KNOW.
