Casaubon,

Well I bought puts awhile back on some decent picks ...
BUT the thing is most of them only moved 1/2 way to the measured move and then reversed (and I held on). I'll have to go through the trades after this little fiasco is over ie most of mine expire today and it's kind of hard to talk rationally about a trade when you are in them and at the loosing side of it to boot. (well at least for me it is)... after I close the trade well then I can laugh about it <g>.

I still feel like a beginner when I look at my trades and see the mistakes I've done; sometimes I just dont get it.

btw I'm thinking we are done here with the flag; although we may still head up to the little dbl top in the 5 min.

Sean

Casaubon,

I sold most of my options this past friday so I am looking to enter some other positons. I'm looking mostly on the short side of things. I'm just going through the S&P500 list and writing ones down that I find 'interesting' ... so far I'm up to the C's ...
I like C (citigroup) ... I figure if it breaks 41 1/2 we may have a winner. Also to note I feel this one will only break 41 1/2 if the market tanks.
CA ... a small nice dbl top ... although we have already had 2 decent down days so you never know it may jsut stop there.
so I am shying away from that one.
CCL ... looking for a break below 40 then we should be good.

and I mentioned CMB on a previous message ...

still wondering what will happen next week.
if we crash and I miss some plays I will definately be looking for a buying opportunity.

Also sometimes it's just good to look to see what some of these things do; not invest necessarily

edit - here is another one I just found that is interesting ... GP ... formed a H&S broke below neckline and then retraced back and headed lower on friday (nice one to watch).
