So far, Mr. Market giving the finger to Uncle Al, this is no sell-off at all. But, it is expiration day and will be weird no matter what. As Luc says, next week will be more telling. CPI and trade balance are out when, Tues. and Wed? Plus, everyone with their '87 comparisons will be fighting the last war. Bulls will be saying, everyone who held just three months got all the way back and look at the 12 years after that. Or, " I hope it does crash so I can buy all my faves on sale." There is no fear, only complacency. The unwinding will take some time, with tons of volatility.
