Rick -

Spoke with Marty Martinello

Here is what I got - they are determined to go ahead with or without HDG. Expect drilling to begin very shortly - with or without HDG(4 weeks at the outside).

They want to stick with the original phased in plan set out in May of this year - everything done that needs to be done by year end.

They have a fall back plan - he wasn't too specific about it other than it would be a private placing and would replace HDG if that falls through. Similar terms.

He reports continuing problems with HDG - what else is new.

Apparently they haven't finished ponying up the money as per agreement and they are extremely difficult to contact. MLSM very disturbed by this. According to MLSM they are making best efforts to adhere to agreement and see this through -

MLSM wants to move forward by Nov 1 on something in order to meet their original targets.

Still says that mine has 5-7 million tons without the anomolies and they will mine that for sure.

Well there you have it more of the same - different source.

Going home for a scotch......Having a bad stock day
