Analysis of new coverage map: A huge improvement over the previous version, that fixes many blatent problems; shows as expected full W. Hemisphere coverage (except Alaska), all of Russia (S of 70N) all of China, Australia and Middle East covered covered by y/e 2000. Interestingly, it shows Western Africa Eastern Africa, India and SE Asia, including Malaysia and Indonesia covered in 2001. Well, that's better than never. The Martel GW in Iceland seems to have been forgotten; I assume that's a mistake, not a change in plans. The level of detail is still very poor, has no indication of where one can roam, and implies coverage in countries where political/regulatory issues make it seem unlikely. Still, it's definitely progress.
