Hi, DSD. What's up witchu, man?

I am taking a naughty SI break ~ shouldn't do it, I got an extension on my 1998 taxes, until, you guessed it, 10/15/99, and, of course, they ain't done yet. But I'm agettin there. What's been holding me up is the dread Schedule D ~ I needed to get a 1099 from one brokerage, as I couldn't find it. Now, I am regretting the wages of sin, one step at a time, reliving the dark days of buying at the top and selling at the bottom. The story does have kind of a happy ending, I bought on the double bottom and wound up doing OK for the year, but not exactly stellar, and not fun to relive. Decided that Fidelity is my favorite brokerage out of Scottsdale, Vanguard and Fidelity, it's the most professional.

My husband, who is a patent examiner, wonders if all lawyers wait until the last possible second to do things, they seem to in the patent business, and I do, too. How 'bout you?

Over and out, duty calls.
