What do you want from a stock the Motley Fools put in their "Boring" portfolio? <g>

Wish I knew!! Kevin is probably more right than he thinks ... there is not much controversy, and the stock doesn't seem to attract people with a lot of emotion. I think COSTCO is going to do VERY, VERY well through the next several quarters. And, just an aside ... where else can you go online and buy (with confidence) an really big, high quality, loose diamond at a huge discount???? Their online business is going to attract a fair share of the economy minded "big spenders"!

So, COST may be on the dull side for now, but with continued great management, better and better earnings, and a split in the future, things are looking just fine from my perch!!

I wonder if or perhaps when COST will get into the online New Auto/Truck sales business. If they took that step, I think you would see some controversy!

Mel

Dear Mel: Why is this thread so dead with a fine quality stock like COST? JDN

Because it is such a sure thing. Believe me, when I turn in at night, the last thing I worry about is Costco.

Time, will take care of us on this one.
