I wonder what the policy on employee posting/communication is at Sun Microsystems? How well does their policy work for them. They certainly are good at getting their marketing message across. If anyone knows a bit about this it might give us some insight into Eric Schmidt's thoughts on this. Maybe the Novell policy is his, maybe it is a leftover of Novell's past. Do we know of a company that has an explicit policy on this that works well. Never hurts to email suggestions to Eric, if we believe we can help the company.
