Makes one ponder; Telecom 99> urors gave an average score of 3.42 for the amount of traffic on their booths. But there were big differences. The area around Alcatel, L.M. Ericsson AB (Stockholm) and Nortel Networks Corp. in Halls 4 and 5 appears to have been particularly busy. Each of those vendors gave an "excellent" rating. "I've been to these shows since 1983, and this has been the best one by far," said Chris Unsworth, Nortel's European vice president of marketing communications.
