on days like this the best you can do is nothing. just sit and watch. it was a fascinating day. i was wondering all day what goes on on people's minds on days like this. did the PPI matter that much? it was all tobacco, and people smoke less and less nowadays. Greenspan? he's been wrong for years. DJIA and S&P in downtrends and negative chart formations? that too shall pass. look at the positive side of things: if you had been able to get a real-time quote and trade, you would probably have done something very stupid like selling in a panic.
