Marc: Re: "Yardeni speaking on CNBC sees 8,000 by March."

Bring on all the bears. Bring them on! Where is Stack? Book Gail Dudack. Bring out the Metz. I want more bears. Stop putting on David Tice of the Prudent Bear Fund. He is paid to be bearish. Where is Ralphie? Time for him to revise those targets down!!!!

re:buy points discussed on Saturday's show.Bob made the point that the rather conservative buy points in the newsletter which I believe are Dow 9600 and S&P500 1210 were primarily put in to catch a possible y2k panic selling buy opportunity. He sounded like he thought it unlikely we would reach those points at least under normal circumstances and I had the impression that he doubts significant further downside on this correction. Also thinks good likelihood of another 25 basis point hike in Nov which the market probably should be able to absorb. I have absolutely no faith in my memory of these details though as I was watching Pedro dazzle while The Rocket fizzled out at the same time I was listening (baseball talk for those who don't know what the heck I'm talking about).
