Very interesting post on the Intel thread. Don't know the source (no link) but couldn't pass it up. Message 11565483 There were some nastygrams for me when I did a server piece on Athlon and Merced. May be these folks can start attacking all the articles and their authors that I am sure will come about in the future talking about how Athlon is going to outperform Merced for a lot of server applications.
