My take is that the Web stocks finished their correction in August, and the stocks are in stronger hands. The thing to be concerned about for the group is overhang.

the reason the nets didn't crumble today,,
is because the mm's control the stock prices and on options friday if they let the sector tank they would have gotten killed by getting alot of stock put to them,,if you don't belive me ,,i sat and watched on my bloomberg at work yhoo options being traded today and all the intrest was at 170,,there was about 15,000 volume on 170 calls and 5,000 intrest at 170 puts and i watched the last hour and the mm's did not let yhoo go above 170 or below 169 at that point i knew it would close at around 169.5 as all 20,000 options that their was intrest on aould expire worthless and allowing the mm's to keep all that premium,,on monday they might really fall as options expiry is behind them,,,in a rising intrest enviorment these stox can not stay at these valuations,,if we tank further investors will be very defensive and invest in companies with earnings and raise cash,,these nets will be the last place people will want to have money,,,
