I agree Gerstner is real focused on profits but I don't think he would give up the pc business....too much of IBM's prestige is locked into its computer business.....more mainframe I know but pc's as well. There was speculation when it did its service agreement with Dell, that ultimately they would sell their pc business to Dell.

But I bet, just like they turned their mainframe business around, they'll do the same with pcs.
