I don't know how long we can stay civilized here, but would hope long enough to discuss it as a thorough possibility for investment that would boost our portfolio returns over the long haul. From my experience, the best way to keep a thread such as this from deteriorating is for all of the regulars to steadfastly refuse to engage the trouble makers at their level, no matter how tempting it may be to give them a good verbal spanking. In almost every case, if you ignore them they will go away and make trouble somewhere else. Let me also take this opportunity to add my appreciation for the work you did putting the eBay analysis together. It will make a nice template for others to follow in the future. I'm still trying to make the time to read my new revised FM (a certain baseball team continues to keep my up past my bed time this week). After I finally do catch up, I want to attempt a similar analysis of Checkfree, the current leader in the electronic bill payment and presentment (EBPP) arena.
