the issue is NOT you!

the issue you raised is why short the market in october. y2k has nothing to do with shorting the market in october. and while we are talking about the market since this thread was originally named Y2K and the Stock Market, i can't help but wonder why we haven't been treated to more appearances on this thread by Puma Pickle? you don't suppose she is still waiting around for the summer rally she was promised by some guru newsletter do you?

what tickles me the most about your posts is this: you claim on the one hand that y2k is serious and you are taking plenty of precautions and making plenty of preparations for it.

now in this series of posts you are short the NDX supposedly because you expect all the y2k inventory buildup will get puked up in 1Q00 and you want to be there ahead of time.

so which is it? you believe in y2k's disaterous consequences to the individual or do you believe it is all hokum?
