Doctor J: Thorough and detailed. Like wow. You must actually like to analyze all those numbers and then keep up with the underlying fundamentals. Then the real meat is what you see as most improtant and help us see also - in language most of us can understand.

Even as a buy and hold guy, I find your comments and perceptions very valuable even though most of my effort goes into picking technologies I think will fly (such as wireless and fiberoptics) and the leaders in them (such as the Q and JDSU) and then pick out some where there may be explosive growth in related areas (such as Phone.com, and Psion in wireless and Harmonic and Terayon in fiber).

And basically I have found in these types of companies my experience has shown that yesterday was usually a better time to buy than today, and the day before yesterday better still, and a month ago even better, but then a year ago best. Since can't do that, seems like when the research and analysis of the fundamentals shows a potential flyer, go with it. I have personally made more mistakes in my long life in waiting than going for it. (That of course is when you choose well )

But even so, I find your approach very helpful in understanding what is going on - as I do that of Voltaire.

Thanks again.

Best.
