Well people that short have plenty of money in equity or cash in an account to do what they want to do. This may be a real scenario for individuals but the big boys make millions shorting.

So my opinion is that I doubt that is real. That is suppose to be the way is supoose to be anyway. However, people with money can do anything they want to so I doubt it is going to have much of an affect in reality.

I remember when I first started trading shorting OTCs or under $5 stock was touted as being prohibited and we all know that was just a cock and bull story.
