You could get a lot of pig ears on a barge. I wonder how many? A year's supply? More than all the pigs around America with ears still on them now? More than all the pigs that ever were and are?

My calculator only goes up to eight places. 99 million. I guess I could drop some zeros and re-add them, but I get mixed up doing that.

I can see a truckload of pig ears, but 500 truckloads is a lot.

Maybe they could all be sterilized inside a barge, though. A giant fryer-barge, that heats up to 70 C for 24 hours while floating down the Columbia. Or clears the Northern Sea Lanes.
