I was lucky enough (I'm still alive), to have been in one that rolled over five times in 1960. Not much of a wheelbase in those things. Later found they were rolling over all the time. I believe they were quite competitive due to being subsidized by the French gov.

Brings back memories. My friends girl friends dad had one that ran on gas and/or electricity. We used it sometimes of course returning it with an empty tank and dead batteries. haha. JDN
