Paul,
Windows 2000 ISN'T GOING to ship this year - I believe -

I have been running W2000 Pro workstation build 2128 for a few weeks now and it is very reliable. The only significant bug I have come across is intermittent failure to hang up USB ISDN connections.

There are many features that enhance it over NT4 sp5, but some problems with software installation. Many install scripts refuse to work, even though the underlying software really does work fine. There are usually workarounds to overcome this, but this is probably the area which would cause most users problems.

I am running a 333 MHz Celeron on a Supermicro P6SBA with 327 Mbyte of PC100 SDRAM at 66MHz. It also runs fine with 128 Mbyte ram, but 64Mbyte is not enough to avoid slow running.
