No - I DON'T REMEMBER - maybe you can refresh my memory.

I do remember a mail order house selling peripherals called PC Brands (I think) which later changed its name to DELL.

As for IBM - getting out of the PC business will be good for them - just as getting out of the x86 CPU business was GREAT for NSM and IDTi.

Just watch IBM's stock ZOOM when they announce their final retreat.
