musea. A.G. is trying to keep the lid on the market. He has been carrying on about it for sev. years without luck. It is coming to the point where I think the best thing for him to do is to raise the interest rate one more time and then maybe he will get off our backs. I believe it was really bad timing for someone like him to rattle the market again at a time where everybody is shaking in their boots about repeating Oct. crashes. Basically I call THIS very irrational.

Anyhow, all the Bears came out of the closet again today, even the ones we have not heard from in a while.

Yes, Intel had pretty good numbers but came in 2 cents below estimate which gave some of the analysts a reason to badmouth Intel.

I had sold part of my Intel before I went away this time. I thought I may regret it but I can now pick it up cheaper if I find the right time to get in. I may let a bit more water run over the dam before nibbling again.

I would LIKE to say that Monday may be a good time to do some bargain hunting, but I don't DARE say that. I am not quite sure if anyone knows right now which way the wind will blow. You are right. Some investors are getting very, very nervous, including me, but I will be hanging in there with most of my long term positions. I probably should have lightened up a bit more on my margin before I left last week, but I didn't and now I will probably just ride out the storm.

It's kind of hard to determine which way things will go. Some say it will get a lot worse and some say the bottom is near. Neither talk sounds too great. gg.

But I won't let it spoil my weekend. Have a great one.
