Heinz: I saw someone was filing for selling MU stocks on Oct 13 on EDGAR online. I am not a subscriber so I don't know the party. TXN can now sell its restricted shares. I am wondering if it is. Also on Oct 13, Morgan Stanley initialed its coverage on MU with an outperform. Pump and dump? Have a good weekend!

If you want to see an example of how dumb the people gambling in tech stocks are, take a look at newgritch.island.com The Island ECN is used to match trades among various brokerages customers, without using a market maker. That link shows the best bid and ask prices for AMZN on Island. Several things are notable: AMZN closed at 74 yet there are 199 limit orders to sell in the queue, with a price at or above 79 1/2 and there a lot of orders that are not in increments of 100 shares. These people are going to get hit two ways -- one, the prices they expect to sell at are way out of line with the market, and two, they will have a hell of a time selling "odd lots" if they aren't market orders. (I suspect there are so many odd lots because average investors couldn't afford the price of 100 shares.) They don't realize how difficult it will be to sell their shares.
