Maybe this year more people will think about what the Fed is really up to. If the rates get hiked again, there will be trouble for the rest of the world. The market is notoriously shaky in October, so why on earth (duhh) would anyone try to sink the market at its weakest time? And the PPI, was that anonymously sent in a sealed envelope to be opened this morning? Or did Mr Greenspan simply put both the PPI and his speech together for the impact of moving the American market almost 3%, leverage that in for the smaller economies and they will almost double their movements. Politics, controlling the world from the market place beats the heck out of lugging bodies out of the rice paddies......I know my equities, so I am not troubled by the market gyrations. I just hope more and more investors come to recognize the Fed gyrations, and vote them back to where they came from. Or ignore them.
