Waldy, I'm in the same boat as you, I think you may hit the target right in the center. Perception is everything, and NOVL is still not working on this. I hope, that they (Dr. Schmidt and/or the Board) wake up or someone will see this opportunity, and make them an offer they can't refuse. It has been said so many times on this board over the last few years, it seems like nothing has changed. There is always the attitude of not rocking the boat. I'm saying it here: "Dr. Schmidt, rock the boat!" Regards, Dieter

Desert Sands... >>Somehow or other Novl. has managed through a variety of adventures and products and leadership and now by evidence of recent discussions to remain as plain vanilla as the desert sands of a company....no matter what is tries to launch.....again Wall Street knows this and those that prepare opinion articles know this and now as a stockholder of several hopeless years having been sucked into the technical euphoria of Novl>> Waldy: Since last March a ton of good energy has left Novell. I'd like to know who's responsible for this twist of fate. They were on a BIG role. Then the Old Guard moved in. I'd just like to know if there is anyone left of the New Guard. And I'd like to know who's responsible for this Old Guard sweep. There's been a vastly different energy about Novell ever since Brainshare. We all felt something was up immediately following Brainshare. Now it's apparent that Novell's become "tap city." Tapping energy. Restricting energy. We're in a vast new age which requires - even economically mandates - openness. The Old Guard inside Novell doesn't seem to appreciate this. It's all about energy, passion and enthusiasm. Where is it? It's left Provo. Eric? This IP Tsunami won't wait for Novell to get it's act together. Peace.
