And if someone cheated, and we even had proof then what?
We would be no worse than we are now. What can we do now? shed crocodile tears? We could do something if we had the treaty, even if it was just to complain - or go to war. Now we can do nothing, nada, zilch, the absolute cesspool of options.

So, I guess the Brits, Germans, French, Aussies, and most of our other allies are real stupid, and the Democrats as well, only Republcans led by Jesse Helms and Trent Lott and Tom Delay are smart.

Russia and China were waiting for the US to do something before they did. Since we have most of the Nuclear firepower in the world why would they sign before us?
