What was your mother smoking before you were born?
Salems. She continued for many years after I was born. I used to poke little pin holes in the cigs just above the filter and it would make her so mad! She had to go into a nursing home a few years ago, she was coughing a lot then, and me and my sister and brothers got together and decided that when we got groceries we weren't going to buy any more cigarettes. My sister did the main talking, she gathered up the remaining smokes and flushed them, and we all told her that was enough. It was kind of weird you know, because all our life she was Mom and she told us what to do, but this day we all said that that was enough because we loved her and didn't want her coughing up a lung any time soon. Well, she just quit, I guess she had to 'cause she couldn't drive well enough to get any by herself. She didn't go out trying to bum smokes off the neighbors though, she just went ahead and quit, and after a month or two she said she was really glad that we got her unhooked from the habit.

So, what have you been smoking?
