Only a statist could invent the lie that a government official knows better how to spend a hard-earned buck than the poor sap who actually worked for it. On the other hand though, who is to say? If the libertarians are really correct and government is not needed - or that it should be much smaller than it currently is - "evolution" will take care of it naturally, no? Ask yourself as well, how many people really want to be free, or to really know the truth about "the big picture?" Isn't freedom slavery and ignorance strength these days? FWIW Andy
