Dear M. My wife made it home VERY SHAKEN. haha. taught her a lesson. That was to LISTEN TO ME. I am an old Fla. hand and have been through many hurricanes. I knew how it would be but she thought I was exaggerating. I made her keep her cellular phone on the whole trip and keep in constant touch with me. She prayed the whole way home (45 minutes) as the Jeep was shaken from left to right. She was very sorry she didnt let me take her to work and bring her home.
As to the hurricane, we suffered a lot of yard damage and the wind drove the water right through one of our walls (concrete block/Stucco) ruining the interior paint in one room but thats the extent of all I have found so far.
Sadly, 5 people lost their lives in Ft. Laud. (thats where my wife drove from) and 2 others elsewhere. JDN
