I now use mytrack and the service is excellent, (see 2MAR$ #19059 above, its all true),but as fate would have it, I took a couple of small long (I thought) positions with a previous account from e*&%* on Thursday..
In retrospect, had I simply focused on trading opportunities at hand via mytrack Friday morning, I could have done very well with many fire sale bargains and bounces.. but I decided to not maintain any long positions, and it took 40 minutes to make 2 trades thru e*&(*.. absolutely never again..

Hi Westpac, and anyone else unfortunate enough to use TD Waterhouse. I wanted real bad to trade today, but it took an average of 8"to get a "real-time"quote. I kid not...once I brushed my teeth, another time I emptied my dishwasher while waiting. Kide had changed up 3 pts by the time I got the quote, and 5 1/2 up while getting the trade screen-I canceled but was sweating it, in case that didn't go through. When I got through on the phone after 18", they said it must be my connection! And besides, all brokers have problems and insinuated that if I want fast trades, I must be doing something illegal! Whoa..Been meaning to switch for months now, but fear the time it takes to set up a new broker, can be 6 weeks I hear. With this volatility, TDWaterhouse is truly gambling, not trading...

Hi, I use TD Waterhouse... I have problems with these guys every damn day! It's unreal how these guys operate. How do they stay in business?? It takes on average 1-2 just to open a buy or sell. Once they had my buy on wait for about 20mins... I need to find a new broker and fast! I would join MyTrade, but im Canadian, and unfortunatly they don't allow Canadians to trade with them "YET".... I wish they would hurry up allready....
