The problem with GenX is that you all defined yourselves as slackers. That doesn't help anyone. The trick is to cause hate and discontent in a way that is not objectionable per se. For example, I might post that a conservative ideology can only be held by the weak minded. However, I never called anyone in particular an idiot. Thus, I get in an insulting comment without retribution being warranted. Admittedly, this is an obscure example, but bring the same philosophy into everyday life. The reactions (or lack of them) are priceless.
