Re: Ure's stuff. I think the guy is a little bit of a crackpot, but it is curious that Greenspan starts to talk the market down after it has already been kicked -- Now I read Fleckenstein's take on this -- Greenspan not wanting to be blamed if it is close -- but I don't buy that either ...

Here's a really crazy idea ... perhaps the fed is really scared about Y2K and wants to provide some insurance in the way of liquidity ... what would you do first? I could be barking up the wrong tree here, but Greenspan's actions are somewhat curious ...
