you're right, but it's not the SW boot process that takes long time. When the system is turned on, the Kryotech system control keeps the power off to the motherboard, until the CPU is cooled down to -40øC.

Thanks for the reply. I don't see the extra clock speed of these beasts being worth the hassle, especially what comes with their use of "mainframe cooling technology". Your Athlon 650 is more than adequate, to say the least, I'll bet.
