LG,

I first started lurking on SI in 1996 but did not join then. Later, I was just too parsimonious to pay the fee. (There are always excuses e.g. - The new SI interface keeps crashing - or - Why should I pay for a newsgroup? etc.) However as the information I gleaned from SI became increasingly more significant in my decision process, the justification for remaining mute was harder and harder. Finally after shorting the NAZ (via selling some CSCO near the money calls on Sept options expiration day), I promised myself I would join if they expired worthless. Since I made the trade based upon insight obtained in large part from this thread, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the many other very perceptive posters here who contributed to my enlightenment and enrichment.

lurking.
