Chris, No argument from me on your points. We need to go back further than last year. That is what is wrong with the whole fed process (IMO). It is a constant interruption (both ways) of the natural flow of the markets. However, we can't do anything about it and as you said it does make for some good opportunities for the quick. It also makes it hard as heck to maintain any long term portfolio without fear. I think that this boom-bust cycle (and not daytrading) is what is killing the average investor's account balance. Daytrading will just go down in history as being the scapegoat. Matt I'll bet we only get rain (not that you need any more) from this hurricane. Have a good weekend.
