Irene stood me up! (I hate it when ladies do that to me, even more than when guys do it. <ggg>)

The storm was a no-show around here. (Tampa/St. Pete) We got a little 15 knot breeze that reminded me of March, some nice cloud patterns, and one dynamite sunset, but that's about all.

From other responses, I gather the Sprint phone (Q inside) is being played nationwide.

I don't have much use for a cell phone (or at least I don't think I do....yet) so there are a couple of things I hope someone can answer for me. 1) Can they be operated from within an aircraft in flight and are there any limitations? and 2) Can they be hooked up to a laptop? (I'm thinking of the person who has worked up a spreadsheet, a letter, a quote to a customer, etc, with the laptop and who then wants to send it to someone else, and is this the way to do something like that?)
