Tony,
do you get a bug list

Yes, but it is not complete:-(

Reason I ask is you mention the USB ISDN and

I found that one for myself, although I was looking out for problems because the bug list mentions failure to hang up when two channels are used together.

Have you tried a faster CPU?

No, although I have a fast graphics card (Matrox M400) which was interesting to install as W2000 does not know about it yet and the NT4 installation script on the accompanying CD would not accept NT5. I found a hint on the Microsoft web site. You let the plug&play system install the drivers, after telling it that you want to install a graphics card. This approach works for many devices that will not otherwise install. Another problem was with Adaptec Easy CD Creator Deluxe, where rebooting after installing from CD killed W2000. However, installing the latest version from the Adaptec web site on top of the CD version without rebooting in between works fine.

I rebuilt my PC using parts that were to hand after some very subtle motherboard damage following a nearby lightning strike which also killed my ISDN line for over a week.

It seemed a good time to experiment with W2000 using a new hard disc. Only when it had been running for a couple of weeks (and reinstalled a few times) did I attach my other discs formatted under NT4.

My Intel camera is installed by the plug and play manager, but the software that came with it will not install. Most other things like scanner and printer work fine.
