~ 2 of a kind grub & Good Afternoon 2U Carolyn! Thanks for the IATV steer, nice progress lately. As more sports events play the indoor weather it should take off....& Doubleplusgood have noticed many new puter cartons put out with the trash recently! When bought this puter i could've gotten the newest model (Gateway) puter with a giant entertainment screen instead... only reason i didn't (i got a 19" monitor, good enuf) was they didn't offer the optional "an expert comes to the house and assembles it 4-U for more money" with the bigscreen model... so that was that for that. (got other things to do than wrangle with such a thrash). Really must get another phone line and another computer for my daughter now; sharing this one becomes more difficult cuz we both have much happening online not to mention on the phone....Dream on...4 puters with two phone lines and a digital phone/isp would be Absolutely Ideal...(hey buygnet R U listening)? 1) this one would stay mine with my work all in it 2) a light high-memory portable w/printer for daughter that'll last for her college too 3) some kinda mini wireless/phone combo gizmo for me (it's coming closer) 4) a bigscreen with WebTV & cable on it hooked up to a vcr for that 1-in-all Home Entertainment Center. BoyOBoy that'd be nice, buygnet! Speaking of spending money... Anyone else dig that Y2K retro-50's Ford T-bird 2-seater? And Ladies! (when in NYC, trust me -check out 37th St. stores first for clothes shopping)... Aren't the New Fashions Beautiful this year? In A Neo-Turn-Of-The-Century mode.. Designers have outdone themselves for this Milennium Season.. Kudos to 'em! Daughter & I went to NYC right after school yesterday to shop and walk around The Village. Riding downtown through The City was more fun than the highway, saw such gorgeous window displays & good-looking crowds on the fine fall day. Found some lovely outfits for her in the vintage shops (they're in a sealed bag right now waiting 2B washed don't worry), & had a great dinner as always. A bit chilly out but i wore my barefoot sandals anyway & confirmed timing stats riding downtown - yep sure enuf - there i was the only one in the city wearing sandals!! Alrite! Good omen for Green Day, wouldn't U say?! So Yesterday Was Time for the Annual Ritual of Putting Joan's Feet Away For Winter! Got the kid giggling embarassed because i was making a big deal out of it LOL. Found me a beautiful pair of new winter shoes to go nicely with long skirts and slacks (black three-button turn-of-the-century style granny lowriders: dressy & comfortable & flexible & sturdy) ...so i wore 'em out of the store carried those old summer sandals in the shoebox.... Proclaiming ... IT'S OFFICIAL!!! JOAN'S FEET ARE PUT AWAY TIL EARLY SPRING!!! LET THE SEASON BEGIN!! 909s, Joan ps. Carolyn, this is where IATV is, right? sho.com hope 2C it at go2net.com U never know. Heard arterchay is early Nov. now, hey thats ok by me, let 'em take their time getting "It" ready right.
