Way off topic.

To tell you the truth I would rather lose to Boston the way we did than to lose to the Yankees and get our face kicked in like you are now. I have never seen a series change like that one did when Burba went out after four innings of the third game. I like Garciapara a lot but I always thought he was a better fielder than what he has done this postseason. Nonetheless he is awesome. You might say you got a keeper. I guess the same would go for Martinez. One question that was never really answered here regarding the fifth game. If he was healthy enough to pitch six innings (I assume he would have pitched more if he needed to), why wasn't he the starter?.

As for Hargrove he completely out-managed Williams (and Williams is superb manger I might add) the first two games and then his brain died. Every move he made in game one went perfect. Same for game two (but it is not hard to manage when you win 11-1). After that one bad move runined the series, but you would have thought somebody could have got somebody out. Also nobody seems to remember that he out-managed Leyland in 1997 WS but Mesa just couldn't get the last two outs.

Those Boston fans sure showed a lot of class last night (sort of like your message Matty).
